Federated Insurance® Makes 2024 National Corporate Mentoring Honor Roll
As National Mentor Day approaches on October 27, Federated Insurance proudly celebrates our ongoing dedication to youth mentoring. This year marks the seventh consecutive year that Federated® has been on the National Corporate Mentoring Honor Roll, highlighting our commitment to fostering impactful mentor relationships.
Supporting Big Brothers and Big Sisters®
The annual Federated Challenge® stands as the best example of mentorship in action, showcasing the transformative power of youth mentoring and its impact on shaping the leaders of tomorrow. In 2024, Federated Insurance reached a remarkable milestone by raising a record-breaking $4,537,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters® through the annual event. This achievement reflects our unwavering support for Big Brothers Big Sisters, with all proceeds benefiting Minnesota's three Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters of America®.
Why Youth Mentoring?
“Mentorship is the bridge that connects our youth to their potential,” said Vice President - Director of Public Affairs Annie Priebe. “It’s about empowering them with confidence and guidance to navigate their futures. We are committed to being that bridge.”
The National Corporate Mentoring Honor Roll is organized by MENTOR, a national leader and go-to resource on quality youth mentoring. The Honor Roll itself was initiated in 2011 by First Lady Michelle Obama, encouraging companies to in inspire their employees to become volunteer youth mentors.
